Calculate hours between two timestamps, excluding weekends

Hi folks, Being able to measure duration between tasks seems to be a fairly common business requirement. So far we have DATETIME_DIFF which is great because it lets you specify the unit of measurement (day, hour, minute etc). However it will also include weekend days. The WORKDAY_DIFF is great as it excludes weekends but unfortunately it only has one unit - day. So my feature request - either add ‘unit’ as an option to WORKDAY_DIFF or create a new function called WORKTIME_DIFF. Thanks, Neil

Hi all - while the Color feature is fine, it does not visually separate rows well. It would be excellent to have a feature where you can color/highlight/grey out entire rows. In my use case for example, it would be greying out and/or italicizing rows that have a start date in the future The problem with simulating this via grouping by a calculated field is that when you group by a calculated field you can no longer add new entries, which is cumbersome (to have to remove the grouping and re-add it every time you want to create a new item, such as when you’re walking through the list as a team)

I think it would be huge to have a field type that is a checklist that has defaults you can set. This would be a huge win for Airtable to add.

Love the new interfaces feature. It would be great if it were possible to add fields into groups or sections which are visible based on different criteria. For example, I’m using the interfaces feature to input data for different rooms / spaces. If I were to select one out of two rooms, the input boxes for the second room would become invisible.

I have been working with Airtable for only a short time - with a view to building solutions for clients. One of the things that worries me is how easy it is to delete a record - simply right click and delete and it’s gone. In my view there should at least be an Are you sure message - or the increasingly common requirement to type something like “Delete this record” into a dialog box. It may be that a table option should be provided to allow a choice for the creator.

When sending out records from Airtable, it would be great if I didn’t have to type in the email to send the record/s to. If I have the contact email stored in my table or base, why can’t AT pull that list of emails for me?

Rich text is great but would be amazing to be able to have a new field or improve long text field type to have the same features of Box notes, dropbox paper etc. And/or allow these file types to be uploaded to the attachment field.

Hi, can you please add the ability to control the search patterns inside the search block? For example, add the ability to perform exact match search when searching across tables. Right now, search results bring back too many records to sift through. In general, would be good to have more control over the search pattern. Maybe you can add RegEx capabilities to the Search Block. Thanks for your consideration.
