Currently, it does not appear I can directly access forms on a mobile device. If I have the share link, I can access the actual form to do data entry. However, if I don’t have the share link handy, there’s no obvious way to access the form or even the share link. So, the simplest solution would appear to be: If selecting a view that’s a form, (while editing isn’t allowed) allow the user to get to the live form (for data entry) or at least provide the share link in the error message. Please connect the dots here.

It might be useful to have some way of tracking the web traffic for shared links, including having a list referring websites. The idea here is that we can track usage, remove links that aren’t used or reshape views in line with audience behaviour.

It would be great to have a full-text search capability, but limited to a particular field. For example, find all occurrences of “Edward” in a particular multi-line text field.

I would like to use a few basic emojis as visual indicators for states (e.g., stoplight charts, bug severity, etc.), but the current formatting doesn’t put space between the emoji and the following text.
So I put this in (formatted as I want it)…

I would absolutely love to be able to add an external data source (RSS, XML, CSV) as a table type, and also be able to export an Airtable view to a XML feed. (You can kind of accomplish the latter using Raleway’s Airtable import plugin and then a Google Sheets to XML plugin, but it is a touch hacky)
Take a look at this Wordpress plugin which imports all entries in an RSS feed and lets you turn it in Custom Post Types: http://www.wpallimport.com
Imagine something like this for importing to an Airtable DB instead of a Wordpress DB - it could be really powerful.
I would imagine an external data source having to be its own table, where all imported columns would be read-only - though you should be able to add additional columns to do formulas etc on the imported data.

Would it be possible to make it impossible to create blank records in Airtable - it’s so easy to create these that bases become littered with them. It’s even worse if you accidentally add a record in a grouped view because linked record are created which are otherwise blank.
One way to do this would be to give the user the option of making one or more fields ‘required’ - and without them the record would not submit.
I find having to constantly delete such empty records quite annoying!

I am wondering if there is a feature which can allow us to organize our views? What I mean is I have made a number of views and I would like to organize them like a page tree. For example:

You can see this list is getting long… it would be great to bucket them and be able to collapse them when not needed?

Hello! Does anyone know if it’s possible to color code so that in the calendar view, items show up as certain colors? I’m using AirTable as an editorial calendar, so I’d love to see my blog post topics on the calendar view show up in different colors depending on the category of post. For example, food posts in yellow, DIY posts in green, etc…

This is might be a request for Slack engineering, but if there is a way to Display the Airtable Base Name, Table Name and View Name with the Airtable URL in Slack that would be great. I spent a good deal of time trading Airtable URLs in Slack and they can’t be differentiated without opening the URL.
