Evernote used to have a product called evernote peek, where each note would be turned into a flash card that one could study (title is one side, note content on the other side). This occurred to me when I was playing with the new Gallery views - which I love by the way. If you are building a number of view of a table to cover different subjects (an HR example may be views on Employees to view their Personal Information on one view, their Job related information on another and leave information on a third), then it would be very useful to be able to define which fields are available on the associated Expanded view (and this is not just the fields in the view calling up expanded view). I would add that it’s not only the input fields that you should be able to choose but also the ‘incoming’ or child linked records as well. I wouldn’t want to see linked absences, for example, on an Expanded view associated with an employee’s personal information. ... View more

There are tables that are used for quick data entry that are normally not updated very often (for example product brands). The linked table GUI allows to pick existing records from the brand table, or if you type new stuff and press enter a new record is created in the table. During massive and quick data entry this can be a problem as duplicate or incomplete records could be created. The idea is to have a “flag” at the table level that updates to that table can only be done from the actual table, and not from a linked record. It is a “data validation” feature really. Cheers, ... Can we nest / organize the posts on the community forum (with expand/collapse buttons) something like this: There are posts that I noticed which are duplicates or closely related. And I think it would be helpful if they showed up in a grouped fashion under each related post. (thereby helping users NOT repost, or find the topic which has the most views/comments and post in the more active or appropriate location) Just thought this would be helpful to both the development team and users. In viewing the database, it will be extremely useful if I can open the database, and flick the screen left and right to flip to the next card, or one before that. This will really help viewing through the database very quickly. Currently, I have to click to view the data, then go back to the list, find another one and click to open it.
