When I selecting linked records in a field, the search function only allows me to search based on the primary field. However, my primary field names are not informative (AB001, e.g.). What I really need is to search by one of the other fields of the linked record. This should be possible. When there are so many linked records to search, you have to be able to do better searches. I have a lot of bases now that have a large number of tables, but in some cases some of these tables are synced tables that just provide “background” data that is processed in other native tables. It would be useful to have the ability to “group” these synced tables together into a menu that could be toggled (or even locked) leaving just the ones where processing actually takes place visible across the top. Some use cases I can think of off the top of my head: *Templates for recurring social media captions, sales responses, sales/cold-sales emails, or any inputs that need to look a certain way or go in a certain order. I’m creating a dashboard of different chart blocks that I want to be able to share with others in my organization. I know there’s a beta feature for sharing an individual block (in this case, one chart), but if I want to share a dashboard (a set of charts) with someone, is there a way to do that? We have a lot of fields to display in grid or list views and try to minimize the width of fields, but the field type icon gets in the way from a readability perspective. Just place it on the right side or hide it altogether. The user cares more about what the title of the field is not what type it is and the we want to be able to know it is the correct field at a glance. Or you could a checkmark somewhere in preferences whether the icon should be displayed at all (I'd rather see it on hover or something and would turn it off on all views). Thanks!   ... View more

I think being able to lookup within a lookup of a linked field would be quite useful. For example, I have three tables: “Projects”, “Shipments”, and “Clients”. There can be multiple projects per client, and there can multiple shipments per project. I want to display the Client contact information on the “Shipments” table, but as the client name auto-populates using a lookup field, which pulls the name from a linked field on the “Projects” table, I cannot look within this lookup of a linked field. I can only get the desired result if I re-enter the Client data on the “Shipments” table via a linked field directly to the “Client” table, which is not only tedious but leaves room for error. If anyone knows of a better way to do this, please let me know. If anyone from Airtable can add this functionality, it would also be great. ... View more
