Split Multiple Values for Grouping in Lists

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...the gantt chart has a great feature to split multiple values (for a multi select field) into individual groups (see pic). This allows items with multiple selections to show under each one without creating combination groupings (which aren't useful to me). Unfortunately, this same feature doesn't exists for lists, resulting in those combination groups (which doesn't help me). It would be great if the same feature was available for simple lists How does is solve the user problems? ...groups all items under a single group and does not create combination groupings. Items with more than 1 selection show multiple times on the display under each group. How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? ...

I think it would be huge to have a field type that is a checklist that has defaults you can set. This would be a huge win for Airtable to add.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Currently the filters in Interface for a Boolean filter is limited to "is". The user does not have the option to "ignore the field" by leaving it unchecked . Unchecked pulls up all unchecked records, checked pulls up all checked records. This is too rigid of an option and causes user to get confused by the records they see when they don't check the box in the filter. When you press the "reset" link next to the filter, the user thinks they are seeing all the records when, in fact, they are seeing only the unchecked records. The solution would be to have 2 options for the modifier "is" and "any". The checkbox is grayed out or hidden if the user selects the "any" modifier.

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...It would be very helpful to have kanban views be able to open to collapsed cards. I have two views that are great and useful, How does is solve the user problems? ...but collapsed cards would limit the amount of time searching for the desired one. How was this validated? ...by the time that it takes to search for the kanban, or time it would take to collapse all the cards Who is the target audience? ...everyone who has kanban views that contain large amounts

What is the proposed idea/solution? The light greyblue linked record background in the List View on Interfaces makes me sad. Maybe make the grey take up the whole field, like a Large view of a Single Select field? Or maybe just transparent? I think something different would really help with the wonderful dropdown selection window. How does is solve the user problems? It takes out the sadness of the dreary grey and replaces it with the joy of not-grey. Who is the target audience? Look at that grey and tell me it doesn't make you sad. If it makes you sad, you're the target audience. On a more serious note, I totally get that this is unlikely, as it's probably more a UI consistency thing, but by golly I resist with every fiber of my being using linked record fields on List View because of how they look.

What is the proposed idea/solution? When creating inline records from the Calendar view, open the sidesheet immediately instead of having to click the arrow expand buttons to actually edit the record. IMO this should be the default interaction if no fields are editable from the interface page. How does is solve the user problems? There's a small hiccup on in-line record creation on the Calendar view if no fields are visible. My users either get confused as to how to edit newly-created records or don't even realize that those arrows to expand records exist. How was this validated? Regular feedback from users of Calendar interface views who express confusion resulting from this interaction. The calendar view is the favorite view from many of my users, but this interaction is a little janky. Who is the target audience? I believe almost anybody who uses the Calendar view in interfaces would prefer this method of inline record creation if there are no editable fields.

What is the proposed idea/solution? While Copilot is great to kickoff a draft quickly, most of the times we would start builds from scratch. It would be great to have the AI generation option besides the "start from scratch" when creating a table. This would save sooo much time. In brief description the user can describe the fields to be included. How does is solve the user problems? Saves time when building tables How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? Any Airtable Power User.
