I want to be able to click on a URL that is a link to a local file. The file would anyway be behind our company firewall so the drive location would not pose a security risk as you would have to be on our VPN to see the file. But the URL field will not support a clickable link to a internal file that is a webpage.

Hi there, I would like to suggest a card color change or alert for the cards staying too long on a specific stage of the workflow. The KanBan view has the potential of improving productivity. I would like to automatically highlight these cards that get stacked at some stage so I can easily spot and focus on these projects. Each stage can have a certain time to be processed. As soon as it goes to a new position, the time starts from 0.

We run a government program over 9 different offices and use colors in the calendar to show which office a calendar event applies to. We have a number of different types of calendar events and would love to be able to have events identified using tow different colours (e.g. a swash on the side).

It would be really nice if I could select two (or more) records with the checkboxes on my grid view and have a Merge Records option on the context menu that shows up when I right-click.
Clicking Merge would take me right to the “Resolve duplicate records” window of the Dedupe block, skipping the part where I have to select which table, view and fields I want to use in order to find duplicates.
I want to be able to find duplicates on the fly and merge them as I happen to notice them, instead of it being a whole separate task that I do in batches because it’s too cumbersome to do for just a couple records.

I love the group feature with its ability to collapse rows into a more manageable view. It makes dealing with large amounts of data so much easier.
But right now, when we search for a record and it’s in a collapsed group, that group stays collapsed. It would be awesome if that group could expand automatically. Even though Airtable tells us it has found the search term, we don’t know where it is, unless we expand all groups manually.

I would like to be able to limit form submissions to a specific email domain but not require form submitters to sign up for airtable accounts. So I would like to check that the domain matches and then email the user with a “Validate Your Email” that includes a hyperlink that they can click on to confirm their email.

Having left Airtable a while ago I thought I would check back in to see if they had implemented these two features yet?
Sharing between bases has been requested from long before I even knew about Airtable, I think the dinosaurs were around when that first got requested, any news? Will it happen? Do they still ignore requests?
Another request was for using regex in formulas, any news on this?
