When a user comments on a record they are automatically notified of updates to that record. Although this can be switched off by ticking “not watching”, it seems repetitive and annoying as it is the norm for me and my team not to watch records. Hi there, It would be great to have a toggle for show/hide field descriptions when creating a (view only) shared view through a link. I often add notes in the field description about what table the field links to, how I’m using the field, an explanation of the formula I wrote, and/or other base ‘administration’ details. When I am sharing a view with a colleague, I want them to be able to view the data in the base (the field name is usually explanatory enough for this purpose), but keep my field descriptions to myself. When you link records from one table to the next, you can only see that value/linked field in one color. Blue… If you want to visually see the difference between dozens of values in a table, it becomes visually hard to quickly identify a specific value/linked record. Just like we are given colored options with multi-select and single select fields, we should also be able to have a similar menu to determine what color we want each “linked record value” to be. ... Hi, I saw this was marked as resolved by changing the browser locale… however I’m using the Airtable app in MacOSX and I regularly switch between three different browsers. I don’t want to set all of my browsers to a different locale, as I’m in the US and want to continue all other US settings… I just believe Europe got it right when they start the week on Monday… as the week actually starts on Monday. It would be really great if search could also index pdf attachments added to a file field. Others might like other file formats like raw text, HTML, MS Word, but for me pdf would be the best. This would make Airtable search competitive with Spotlight on a Mac, where all files are automatically indexed. ... View more

I am a little disappointed that Airtable wants to advertise to the users of the form we create. Even if you specify a URL after the form… they show you an ad for 5 seconds… Anyone else getting this after form submission… we have a paid account… there is no option to turn it off. ... View more

It would be useful to be able to filter a card’s activity feed by field and date range! Many times when searching through the activity feed, we are searching for when a particular field was updated, or for or all of the activity that happened in a particular date range. When a record is linked in many places and constantly updated, the activity/history feed on that card can become so large that it becomes difficult to find when a specific field on that record was updated, or to get to a particular date range of activity, as we have to continue to click ‘load more’ for minutes until we reach the desired date range/beginning of history. ... Hi there, really loving Airtable but seems like the Chart Block is a little under powered… Minimally it seems like integrating basic statistical plots like histograms, box plots, and violin plots, could be really helpful for creating useful dashboards. Additionally some useful things like radar plots and maybe even contour plots would be great to see added. I know this isn’t a dataviz platform by design, but then again it kind of is so making charting/plotting a bit more of a first class citizen would be cool to see. ... View more
