Did a little UX study and found that a lot of users don’t use Ctrl/Cmd-C… shortcuts to cut/copy/paste. It amazes me. Is it possible to be able to see who else on my team is accessing my shared bases? I’m new so it’s possible I’m missing something, but I would like to be able to see who is there in real time to avoid stepping on collaborators’ toes (or cells) if we happen to be working on the same tables at the same time. Really missing this handy feature of Google docs/sheets. And while I’m asking…a very simple chat feature between members of each base would be incredibly useful as well. We’re a global team and don’t have a central location, so as we onboard more of the team, I am spending a lot of time explaining how to change views, etc. I can set up a video call and screen share and point them to the tables they are looking for, and we can chat in slack or text or email back and forth…but it would be so much faster if I could send them a quick message or two without leaving Airtable. ... ARRAYUNIQUE does not appear to work on text strings that have spaces. For some reason, it seems to work on text strings that are a single unbroken word. I really need this for rollup fields that read in data from a junction table, as some of the data repeats. The rollup lists for a single record can be quite long, and the rollup fields are for humans to glance at and use to make decisions, so having several repeating strings makes it a lot easier for a person to overlook important data. ... Hi, I just noticed that record views do not show field descriptions. The descriptions are very nice in the table view and probably more important in a record view where it is harder to understand what a field is supposed to do without other records for context. Speaking of context in the record view, it would be super-helpful if clicking that tiny, invisible link back to the source table at the top of the form also took you to the record in the table. I would also love to see a control to hide or unhide fields in the record view. I just figured out that the first view controls which fields are hidden on the form, but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to control (visibility and order of fields) from the form? I love having a search bar in any filter I set so that I can easily find the field I would like to filter by, but there is no such search bar in the hidden fields menu.I have one Base with 170 fields in it, Scrolling through all of them is at best tedious and at worst time consuming because I keep missing the one field I’m trying to find. ... When a user clicks on a card (embedded in an iframe) to enlarge it, the pop up card has the icons for the data field. It would look a lot cleaner and more professional if were possible to not display these. ... View more
