Hey UK Builder Crew! We're starting to plan our next events and want to hear your thoughts:

What time of day works best for you?

  • Morning (9–11am)
  • Lunchtime (12–1pm)
  • After work (5–7pm)

What topics would you most like to dig into?

  • Interfaces / designing end-user experiences
  • Airtable AI and automations
  • Data structure and base architecture
  • Real-world use cases and demos
  • Something else (drop it in the comments!)

Also: we've got a London get-together in the works, and we're planning something for our friends up north. More details coming soon on both fronts!

Excited to hear your thoughts! This will shape what we build for you next.

Personally, Lunchtime onwards works best as I travel into London.

Topics - Use cases and demos are great, I also love a ‘tips and tricks’ time to share techniques.

I love the idea of tips & tricks. Could be really fun to have attendees bring their top tip for potential rapid fire demos from the group!

To add to this list of potentials (as I’ll be involved in the organisation as Crew Chief), what about learning more about the new tech adjacent to Airtable - like HyperAgent and Canvas?

Ciao @MaddieJ

I’m London based, so timings less important for me, but I can see the afternoon/evening sessions being easier for those that travel.

Topics I find useful:

  1. Real-world use cases and examples. Always interesting to see how other people approach a Workflow, as sometimes there are multiple ways of doing so but it is great to get inspiration from others! Sometimes a case of ‘Yip, we’ve done that before’ but other times you see stuff and are like ‘I never thought of that’ or ‘that is very cool!’
  2. Designing end-user experiences. We’re about to get into AI within Airtable hopefully soon, but always interested to see what others can create with Interfaces or how they’re using Custom Interfaces built with AI.
  3. Following on from end-user experiences, I like seeing how 3-party integrations are used to create Workflows, however it is bit of a double-edged sword as being an Enterprise, we’re not allowed to connect various Intergrations willy-nilly without authorisation and going through various approval stages. Therefore, always great to see what people can achieve/create natively within Airtable itself, as often that is how we need to operate.

Sounds exciting - especially the Northern idea!

But if this one is down south then probably afternoon will work best for any folks further afield like me to give us time to get there and get home at a reasonable hour

Things I’d like to see/hear:

  • Tips and Tricks
  • Real World Examples
  • Maybe Feedback Ideas
(eg I’m struggling a bit with limitations of the Gantt & Timeline views and would love to suggest some ideas to improve them)
  • Keeping up with what’s new - like the new June released edit record forms
    (examples of this too!)
  • Also Integrations
I loooooove to connect other stuff to Airtable - what’s going on in that space?  Are there any new partners? What are other folks doing with things like Softr, Fillout and so on
    Finally:
  • Q&A with experts
I’d give my hind teeth to talk to somebody from Airtable who knows the ins and outs of the timing of Automations
