What is the URL of your image? It needs to be a publicly accessible URL that links DIRECTLY to the image itself, not a “wrapper webpage” that is displaying the image, which is the default URL that you would typically get from Google Drive or other cloud hosting services.

Yes, it’s a direct URL address of the image file (not a webpage URL). It works in a browser directly by pasting and navigating to the URL, and is publicly accessible. The image is hosted on our website at Square.

This is the URL in our Airtable field. The field is a text field.
Further the underlying HTML of the email itself shows this URL, it’s just not rendering in the email (either viewing with my Mail app on MacOS or directly in GMail).
If I the field type is changed to URL (for the link text), same result.
It works for me. It seems like you may be typing the word {GraphicURL} into your email, instead of using the blue plus sign to actually insert the contents of the field into your email.
