Hey EDUser Group!

I wanted to draw attention to DareTable 2025 - happening in Chicago on October 17th!

DareTable is the largest community-run Airtable conference (while Airtable typically sponsors, the conference itself is actually fully owned and run by our amazing community groups!)—bringing together users from all over the world to share strategies, success stories, and solutions.

Last year, 1 in 5 attendees came from education, making it a fantastic place to connect with peers in our field. You’ll leave with fresh ideas, real-world examples, and maybe even a few new friends in the EDU Airtable space.

🎟️ Tomorrow is the last day for early bird rates and you can buy your tickets here. (You can even use the AI driven ‘convince my boss button’ to help advocate for the budget!)

I unfortunately can't attend that date. Is there a way to sign up for notifications of any future events in the Chicago area?

Hey @EmPK sorry to hear we’ll miss you this go around - but we’ll hope to catch you at the next one!

We maintain a list of our events (both in-person and virtually) here.

@MloganAirtable I check the events list periodically, but I’ve never seen DareTable listed--including right now, unless I’m missing something (or it’s full and therefore taken down?). I also don’t have the bandwidth to check the page every week (or month...), so it would be amazing to be able to sign up for a DareTable email list that would get a notification when dates are announced/badge sales open up. Like the previous commenter, I can’t go this year (at least in part bc I didn’t hear about it far enough in advance) but I’d really like to go in the future...but if my only option is to guess when it’s going to be available for sign-up and hope I find it, I probably won’t be going for a while.

I know setting up email lists/listservs requires someone to be admin/mod/do extra labor, but there might even be a way to do something in the Airtable Community (since it’s a Community-based event), like a post people can subscribe to that gets commented on/replied to when the dates are announced each year?

Hey @sarahschoon - this event isn’t actually run by Airtable, so unfortunately, we don’t have insight into when it may be posted how it will be advertised.

The event is now being run/owned by Optimize IS and I’m sure they’d love this feedback. I’d recommend inputting a ticket here.

Thanks, @MloganAirtable ! I definitely will. I must have misunderstood your comment--when you mentioned going to the Airtable events page, I had understood you to mean that we could ever find Daretable information on that page...which I’m now figuring isn’t going to be the case. Either way, thanks for your reply!
