We're excited to launch the new Airtable PMO Crew, a community designed for Portfolio Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers, PMO leaders, Operations teams, and anyone responsible for planning, executing, and governing work in Airtable.
As Airtable adoption continues to expand across organizations, many teams are moving beyond simple project tracking and looking to build connected systems that support strategic planning, cross-functional execution, resource management, reporting, and governance. This group is dedicated to sharing practical approaches, best practices, and real-world examples of how teams are using Airtable to manage work at scale.
To support that journey, we're launching a progressive learning series focused on Portfolio, Program, and Project Management in Airtable.
Training Arc: Portfolio, Program & Project Management in Airtable
This series is designed as a progressive learning arc for teams using Airtable to manage and scale work. Each session builds on the previous one, moving from foundational system design to operational maturity. The focus is on helping organizations structure, execute, and govern work across multiple levels of the business.
Our first session will take place on July 14.
Session 1: Foundations of Work Management in Airtable
July 14
Most teams build tables, not systems.
In this session, we'll explore how to structure Airtable to support Portfolio, Program, and Project workflows through a connected architecture that scales. We'll discuss how work should flow from strategic initiatives down to execution and how Airtable can serve as the foundation for visibility, alignment, and reporting across the organization.
Topics include:
• Why work management systems fail to scale
• Understanding the relationship between Portfolios, Programs, Projects, and Tasks
• Designing a connected work management architecture
• Structuring Airtable for long-term growth
• Common implementation mistakes to avoid
• What a scalable PMO data model looks like
Whether you're building your first PMO solution or looking to mature an existing implementation, this session will provide a practical framework for designing Airtable systems that support work across teams and departments.
We look forward to seeing you on July 14 as we kick off the series. Register here: https://airtableevents.com/pmo-crew-workfoundations-07-26
