After taking a 9-month hiatus from airtable (AT) and working solely in Adobe Suite and web design tools like Figma and Wix, coming back to this tool has made me wish for the ability to manipulate design elements.  I appreciate and see the case for presenting templated designs for some users, but for the user who wants to create bespoke designs using (typography, colors, containers) for clients, it's essentially impossible to do in the current interface designer.

I hear some power users use AT as a headless management system and then use other frontend systems on top, which is a possibility! My use case requires we only leverage Airtable and no additional systems.

Curious if this is on the roadmap, and if other users have any creative tricks they use in interface designer.

Hey @jpierce1!

Yes, this is for sure a big limitation. However, it also makes for a lean and easy to set up interfaces which I really enjoy.

Did you try using TamperMonkey to get some additional design/UI features?

I have not been playing with it on interfaces, but I can think of hundreds of use cases (fonts; collapsing groups; background colors; etc).

However, Tampermonkey is obviously not great if multiple users need to get the implementations.

Curious to know whether @TheTimeSavingCo has been playing with it on Interfaces.

Ha yeah, one of my clients didn't like the standard chart colors on the Interface so I threw something together to customize it just today

Thank you @Mike_AutomaticN! I have not tried Tampermonkey. Iโ€™ll give it a go.

Side note - I used symbol emojis to bring weight to my primary content in the dashboard. Iโ€™ll show an example soon.
