It’d be great if you could print the views of blocks. When you hit print now, it just prints the view of the main table/grid you’re in, not the full screen block you’re currently viewing. This would be a very useful addition!

We are starting to implement using the Page Designer Block to create “Sell Sheets” for our vehicle inventory. While I can see that there are numerous benefits to this feature, one thing is throwing me off. The page alignment is completely out-of-whack; the first time I tried to print, the bottom of the page was cut-off even though it was visible in the “Edit Layout” mode and the “Presentation” mode. I adjusted and got it all to fit (had to move everything up about 1.5", which is ridiculous), but the margins are still mis-aligned. I’ve attached screen shots to show the print preview vs. what I see in presentation mode. Is anyone else running into this issue? I’m using two tables to display two different sets of activities for two different teams. There are some scenarios where I want to visualize the activities from each table together, so I’ve create a combined table that uses a vlookup field to combine activites and dates from both tables into one. However, now I want to create a timeline block using the start/end date as the required date field but airtable won’t let me. Is there a way around this?

I love the page designer.Although pretty barebones, I am aware that it’'s still a beta and knowing how you work, I fully expect that it will improve over time. One feature that I think is critical but missing is the ability to have the header to any column show a header. If you have multiple fields, having to manualy enter a text header and then match up the actual data is both a pain, and can lead to pretty serious errors. Currently, I can link to another table , but this A: is limited in it’s appearance, and B: I don’t necessarily want to create a link to another table solely to make the page designer work.

We use the page designer block to create reports on customers and projects and love this functionality. However the usability of the block is severely limited by the fixed field size of each element. It would be great if field size would by dynamic to match the content of the underlying report (e.g. tables to be sized to show the number of related records, free text fields to be sized to fit the text) so that we can be confident that ALL data is displayed.

Working with the Time tracker block I find it would be very useful if a View could be selected. In my database there are many records. Most of the time I want to record time on an existing record and finding the right record is not easy. Also, many of these records correspond to tasks or activities that happened in the past and therefore I will not be tracking time on them anymore. If I could select a View, in my opinion, it would improve the usability of the block because I could filter in advance the records on which I want to record time.

Today, we really dove into the Page Designer Block. And beyond our deep desire for traditional print layout metaphors, we have the following concerns/needs: Though PSDs preview within an Attachments field, they are not supported within the Page Designer Block. Though flattened TIFFs are supported by the Attachments field, layered TIFFs are not supported. When printing from the Page Designer Block, blank pages are inserted after every page of data. This requires manual clean-up in Acrobat or similar. Though PDFs are supported well when using Airtable online, they are rendered at a very low resolution when printed to PDF via the Page Designer Block. We require sharp PDFs, and are thus required to export our PDFs as images if we want them at usable fidelity once printed.

Org charts are immensely useful, especially for recreating sitemaps such as in my use case. It would also be immensely useful to be able to share/embed the block without having to share the entire table, but in the meantime an “Export to PDF” option should do it. Also useful for exporting to PDF: a toggle to expand all records multiple “secondary” fields, in the same way Kanban views work.
