What is the proposed idea/solution? Create the ability for users to like one anothers' comments on records. How does is solve the user problems? Allows the user who left a comment to know that the another user(s) saw and acknowledged the comment without the receiving user needing to leave a comment indicating so. How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? All users.

Hi, it would be nice to have the ability to save a snapshot with comments or the ability to name the snapshot. It would also be nice to have the ability to automate a weekly snapshot or a daily snapshot. I am not sure where to post a feature request. This helps to go back to a snapshot if we messed up something, and looking at the name of the snapshot will help us identify it

Hello All, Hello Airtable. You have changed my life! You have allowed a small team that handles $20-100m in grant funds each year composed of 80-120 major projects to come out of the dark ages (excel and MS Access) and increase efficiency, decrease errors, and significantly increase job satisfaction and sustainable work stress. Everyone who uses it is happy, as are our trustees and decision makers. A state agency making this kind of change/improvement in such a short time (since Dec 2020) is a minor miracle. Thank you. But this morning I am dismayed to see a reversal of progress, in my opinion, in a very basic function: The table selector behavior. its now a search, instead of a select. Doh! I spent A LOT of time color coding , arranging and training to be able to get the entire team working within our 49 tables (each member uses maybe 4-6, but they all need to be there, with the first 15 being the most used). I cant get the table list to pull back up so here is a screenshot with just searching for “A”. As the developer, I cannot always recall what every table is called. I really need to have a way to view all tables in order and select from there. This is super critical basic behavior that existed yesterday, but not today. Search function? Awesome! But maybe have that as a top row ‘narrowing’ option (like the rest of Airtable does) instead of opening a blank box? Logic has it that most of us will have our main/most used tables in the first 3-6 tables, so why not show us those anyway? Instead of that fun/demoralizing sideways empty table. Poor thing… haha. Don’t get me wrong, I am happy to have new stuff rolling out. Gantt charts in views and calendaring, for example, are recent updates that have made a huge difference to us. As were View bins and favoriting. (related topic: Tabs now DO follow your click/selection, and the highlighted table appears at the top left when you are there. This was a previously submitted bug from me and appears to be fixed. YAY and thank you!!  ) And lastly, a shot of our base schema which is either a humble brag or a very nervous laugh/realization of how this monster has grown: Thanks!! Damon

I know this topic has been brought up before but I haven’t seen any topics about it post-table syncing implementation. Would really like the ability to hide tables in bases - specifically tables I have syncing. For the most part, I’m syncing the table and then using some automations to find and match to existing records and then using lookups to pull in the information I need. The synced table really isn’t providing any value except for the specific fields I’m looking up. So, if there was an ability to hide these tables it would lessen the cluster of unnecessary tables in a base but still allow for specific information to be pulled in, matched, and synced.

What is the proposed idea/solution? To be able to filter all items in a List view - for example if you are using: Table 1: Projects Table 2: Tasks Table 3 Subtasks I would like to be able to filter all three levels based on the status so that I can easily hide all those Projects / Tasks / Subtasks that are complete How does is solve the user problems? It would help increase functionality of the List view. How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? ...

Sometimes, we need to temporary enable some filters. So filters should be able to be disabled and enabled because creating filter every-time takes time. For example, I want to shift all the dates of a view after specific date. So temporarily, I can limit the data using filter of that view. Bulk update and Disable filter again. Thanks!

It would be great if I could open an Airtable link in the Mac app instead of the web app. (I sometimes have different accounts logged in) If a redirect (open in Airtable) isn’t possible, I think a url bar, or some way to go directly to a base given its url/id would be great

What is the proposed idea/solution? A toggle to exclude any changes made via API in a record's Revision History. How does is solve the user problems? We have daily (some hourly) API updates to our records, which makes the Revision History too noisy to read when we're looking for changes made by actual users. Who is the target audience? Any users with regular API/Zapier/Make/etc automations linked to their bases.

It would be great to be able to use much more color. Font color, background color, row color, column color, color in rich text formatted fields. Pretty much the suite of ways you can do it in spreadsheets.
