Filter Show/Hide Fields by Field Type The ability to filter the fields displayed in the Show/Hide vertical menu from the features bar on a Table. This would work in conjunction with the search functionality. This is handy when a Table has many fields and specific searching for specific field types. Conceptually this could be a dropdown list of multiselect field types OR a box below the search bar that has the different field type icons to select. Example: Filter only for Fields Types = Formula

For the card layout in the grid view, you can’t control which fields display or how much width they take up. I am working on an interface design where I have a long text field which gets cut off after a few words, one field that isn’t necessary to display, and a ton of white space which could be used to display more text. It would be very useful to be able to control the width of the fields and which fields are shown (like with kanban cards). This affects sharing a grid view with the card layout turned on, how linked records display in the full record view, and in the interface view.

Hello, We want to be able to search within attachments (word/ppt/pdf), similarly to typing a keyword in dropbox or google drive and getting results based on the presence of that word or phrase. PDF to text conversion is not a great solution for us since we have upwards of 3000 records and each record contains 2 attachments on average. Has anyone found a working solution?

I started using airtable for my startup but I got my “real job” to adopt the table too. I don’t want to have sign out and sign back in. I wish I could more easily just switch user accounts without signing out of one.

Using Airtable to plan out my day. I like this better than using Google Calendar or iCal since I can see the items as both a list and on a calendar. I can also have way more colors and categories without getting too complicated. Issue is that many of the items are 15 minute tasks and it’s hard to visualize when the tasks push each other to the side instead of stacking. I’d suggest that calendar view be customizable so the height shows X hours at a time. Then scroll can be used to see all the items within a day and no item needs to be pushed to the side because there isn’t enough height for the name of the item.

A short list of things that I still can’t believe I can’t re-order in Airtable: view filter terms view grouping fields automations (!) Bonus points if we could also turn on/off filter terms and grouping fields w/o having to delete them and re-add them again. With literally everything else in Airtable re-orderable (in a very slick way), why can’t these be re-ordered? Dustin

VIEWS Selector UI Comp: PERMISSIONS position of the tooltip text isn’t always very good: Just Take a look at screens: BAD: tooltip position at VIEWS Selector UI Comp first render: GOOD: tooltip position after Mouse right hover: When you access VIEWs Selector often, it’s one more gesture you have to learn to simply see your views. Is there some way for User to deActivate these Tooltips ? I would prefer Airtable would fix first Tooltip position when appearing to UI. It would be wonderful if there was a way that we could purchase just one app for use on our account, or pay a lower subscription cost for using just one or two apps. We have a small team of only 3 people and Airtable works exceptionally well for our project management, however we could really make use of the Import CSV and prevent duplicates app, as the rest of our company works out of excel and sends us excel lists of projects to complete that we put into airtable to manage. We’d totally be willing to pay upfront or a smaller monthly fee to add this functionality to our base, but we really can’t afford $60/month on a tool for only 3 people. Maybe on the plus plan, you could have access to a limited number of apps? Like you can only use up to 3 apps on your base with the plus plan, or unlimited with the Pro plan. I’d even be likely to pick up a personal plus plan for that price on top of our business one.
