I’d like to be able to choose a custom starting number for the auto-incrementing number field - I have existing records that already have a unique ID # associated with them, but they don’t start at 1.

I’d love to see a way to set up a record template for the text fields (Long Text and Single Line). Some use cases I can think of off the top of my head:
*Templates for recurring social media captions, sales responses, sales/cold-sales emails, or any inputs that need to look a certain way or go in a certain order. Long text that varies in detail but not in structure. *Checkbox lists, sub-task lists, to-do lists, item information lists, that are required for every record.

It would be amazing if we had a “global values” block that could store global values for all of our users — which we could then utilize in our Airtable formulas. Please note that this “global values” block would be of absolutely no use to us if we couldn’t pull in the values from the block into our formulas in our base. Just seeing the values in the block serves no purpose to us. We need the ability to pull data from the block into the base. Thank you!

Loving the embed block! But I would love it more if I could customise the URL to be loaded based on a field in my table… My usecase - I’m building custom URLs from data collected in forms. The URLs include complex payload data. Want to be able to load those custom URLs dynamically into the embed block so my users can see the record and the embedded web page simultaneously. Seems that embed only supports static URLs for now? Any plans to allow dynamic population of the embed URL from a field in a base?

It would be really great to be able to embed the views with the option to alter them. I know you could build your whole custom front-end through the API with all the functionality you can think of, but the basic layout of the embedded iframe views are already so functional that it can quickly be overkill to entirely build your own front-end.
I’m thinking of javascript plugin to embed your view with much more settings (than given with the iframe embed) and also events and callbacks so you can alter the embed through custom coded javascript, while starting off from the standard embedded front-end.
Are there any plans in doing such a thing? Or am I missing something and is there already an other option besides embedding via iframe or using the API?

The DateTime column type is fantastic for calendar view, and calendar view is great for exporting to other calendars. One main feature in most calendars on, for example, the iCal format, is the ability to create events that don’t have a specific time. These are usually marked as “all day” events. Or they could be useful for things when you know what the date is, but you haven’t figured out the time yet. At the moment, the workaround appears to be let the field default to the time of midnight. It’s workable, but I’d love to see the datatype be able to handle something like “null” for time.

Even though it is such a small thing it is extremely annoying to work with. I would really appreciate it if it would be possible to have the option to start every calendar view on Monday. Ideally, it would be not only for the browser but also for the mobile and desktop app. (Changing the browser time zone does not work)
