Love AIrtable… However… A partly helpful solution to column width difficulties (cell data being cut off if too wide for column width) could be to allow font size to be changed - Universally across the entire grid view. Could we also have left, middle and right justification of cell text please. My integer number fields are right justified when the next field which has a text field is left justified, so the contents crowd together. Looks untidy. Layout is important right, to make it look really professional

My entire team about 10 of us are very active on AT mobile. But the biggest problem is we have to go to our desktop to check blocks. Is there anyway I can access blocks on mobile?

The old interface layout allowed you to have 2 colors to pick from for the background. The new interface is only light grey. It would be very helpful to be able to have several background colors to pick from to distinguish key areas. It would be nice to be able to adjust fonts, bold, italic, etc.

Please consider adding on/off buttons (checkboxes) to the filters to allow users to toggle individual filters on/off. Exhausted from creating/deleting/creating/deleting/creating/deleting/creating/deleting/creating filters 🙂

Are there plans to add reporting or data analysis functionality to Airtable? Currently it appears the only way to analyze the data is to either use filters or to export to CSV and use a 3rd party tool. Filters work okay for some basic data analysis but don’t work for cross-table reports. And CSV doesn’t work across tables. My use case is tracking service delivery, light case management. I need to be able to pull regular reports with SQL type logic that pulls together linked tables and applies logic and formulas to them. I can get some of this from filters, but I’d like to save the reports so I don’t have to recreate them each time. Saving a different view for each filter would create a massive number of views - not a very good solution. For example, one field is client age. I need to report how many clients fall into 5 different age categories. So in order to save this, I’d need to create a different view for each age category - 5 different views just for that data element.

I am wondering whether Airtable team ever considered rolling out a paid plan targeted at individual users. By individual users I mean people who have the product for personal use, maybe only occasional and whose volume of data is really low. Such a plan could include some blocks useful for personal planning, like Timeline, Matrix or Map. Let me share an example. When blocks were present in the Free Plan, I decided to use the Map block for planning a trip with my friends. I invited them to Airtable and we had a table with destinations each linked to the map. That was very convenient as everyone was able to overview the map. The only problem is that blocks are part of the Pro plan which costs too much for individual users and their use cases. I think the key differentiator of those users is that the amount of records they work on is small. Literally tens of records per base. What will do for them is some reasonable fee for the features included in the Free plan + some blocks enabled. I would say 1,200 records/2GB of attachments per base is even too much.

Hello @Airtable ! I use Airtable heavily for my personal organization as well as for my business organization (in two different accounts). I often have situations where I need to open an Airtable link (especially on mobile) and find myself with a ‘would like like to request access to this base’ message when I already have access to the base through a different email/password login. This forces me to log out of Airtable, log back in with my other account and then go find the original record/base link again to access the right information. Being able to log into multiple Airtable accounts simultaneously (as I can with my google accounts, for example) and then choose which account I would like to open the link with would Save time finding the information I need Increase my ability to collaborate with different groups using Airtable As I think about the future of Airtable and it’s widening popularity I can’t help but think this should be addressed by the Airtable! Views are useful, but sometimes a view needs to have lots of information in it regardless to be useful. Side scrollling with dozens of columns can be unwieldy and difficult to navigate (especially as the user adds new columns in different views, and they automatically place them at the end of other views). Colour coding and/or being able to group columns would seemingly be a simple to implement and very useful functionality. Grouping columns would be nice for tabbing between views and being able to move a bunch of columns at once (or unhide a column and have it snap to it's "group").

What is the proposed idea/solution? Allow users to react to a comment with an emoji like 👍 or ✔️ How does is solve the user problems? Eliminates the need for confirmatory messages or extra automations. It is a courtesy from one user to another their comment was seen, especially after @ mentions. Comment sections filled with too much "Thanks!" and "Got it!" How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? All orgs using commenting regularly ...

What is the proposed idea/solution? We need the ability to make more robust charts in interfaces. How about bringing something like the vegalite extension to interfaces? PLEASE How does it solve the user problems? Basic visualizations like overlaying a line and bar chart can't be done, but vegalite can do things like that and much more. Who is the target audience? Anyone who wants to have robust data visualization in their interface
