What is the proposed idea/solution? On Interfaces, I would love for a user to be able to hover over an element and see the set of conditions/filters that are acting on the element.  How does is solve the user problems? I often create dashboards that summarize data for my colleagues. My colleagues are not comfortable going into edit mode to see how an element was configured. Nonetheless, they may be interested in understanding what data a number element, for example, is drawing from. This would allow them to learn that without having to enter edit mode.    How was this validated? Haven't validated it at scale, but I see this as a hurdle for my team regularly. What is the proposed idea/solution? Price per user rather than per Workspace - Or allow better organization, folders, etc within a Workspace.  We pay more per user on a Pro plan than we do for our CRM.  Yet if we want to collaborate with external parties we need to move the base to a free workspace due to the sharing limitations.  We are a small company and purchased pro for everyone - yet it is becoming a mess.  We cannot even segment visibility of bases within the workspace from some users, since everyone needs to be a pro for that workspace.   Enterprise is outlandishly expensive for small organizations.  We are willing to pay for the service, but the limits even on a pro plan are limiting our use and commitment to the product. What is the proposed idea/solution? With the recent updates to the Airtable API being more featureful with Record Comments - it makes sense to also give some love to no-code Automation Actions, allowing an Automation to post to the Record Comments, either as an Automation or upon behalf of a specified user. How does is solve the user problems? Currently, for example, an Automation can use conditional logic to email an Airtable operator of an issue with a record. What is the proposed idea/solution? The "Editable" and "View only" button on Interface is very handy when limiting actions on an Interface; however, it would be much more convenient and better security/workflow-wise to limit specific fields/columns (especially on List and Grid) as "View only" or "Editable" directly rather than having all fields editable because it can be accidentally edited. I love using the Single Select (or Multiple Select) fields to add a pop of color to a table, and be able to see things at a glance. I also love how easy it is to change a Single Select field to a Linked Record field, and to automatically create a new table using the data from that field. But I don’t love that all my colors go away when I do this. I gain so much functionality, but lose the ability to see things at a glance. I know I can add a little colored stripe to the side of record based on certain conditions, but it’s not the same as the colorful pills in either Single or Multiple Select fields. What if there was a way to take the conditional coloring from one table, and use that to add color to that record when it appears in another table in a Linked Records field? ... View more

What is the proposed idea/solution? The ability to add tool tips to the top of List, Grid, etc Interface pages and/or to tabs on the Interface page. What is the proposed idea/solution? Provide an option to opt out of the new user onboarding flow. Stop forcing the flow to pop up every time we navigate to a new page. How does is solve the user problems? It prevents users (like me) being extremely irritated when trying to just get on with doing what I need to do. I've used Airtable before, like many others.  How was this validated? I personally have designed and implemented similar new user onboarding flows. It's also just a poor UX, because it doesn't provide users with the agency to navigate and use the product according to their needs - it forces users to complete flows according to Airtable's unvalidated needs. What is the proposed idea/solution? Creating a dedicated workspace for formulas that are on the bottom of the window in a Base that will generate greater visibility for formula expression writing.  It would also be very helpful if the formulas would have more predictive capabilities.   How does is solve the user problems? The current floating model is often too condensed to navigate or edit when dealing with lengthy formulas.  This would allow for greater visibility.  How was this validated?
