The Google Map block should have a setting allow it to be set by default, to Light, Map or Satellite. Currently it defaults to Light, which I find very low contrast and difficult to read. It also doesn’t have as much visual impact as ’ Map’ view.

Right now my frustration of having to use such a feature broken app compared to the desktop is just massive. Anyone else feel the pain? At the very least, a simple announcement from Airtable that they’re “working on it” would suffice.

Ability to create instance a table of another base into Another base. That instance will just mirror the actual table form from other base. This will solve all the cross-base feature requests and issues 🙂

Hi,
There seems to be a display but on iOS 13 when entering a mutiple select choice in the app. The bug was here before but it has now changed behaviour and breaks the UX.
When the list of choices is long and takes the whole screen height, the “done” button at the top right is no longer clickable, and seems to be partly hidden under another view element. As a result, it is impossible to exit the choice selection view, and the app needs to be killed to change view.

It would save me so much time if I could enter in dates using natural language, such as: Tomorrow 3 days from now Next Wednesday In three weeks This is already available in several other platforms, so I’m surprised it’s not in Airtable yet! Thanks 🙂

I find this would be simple to do and useful: Add numbers to labels for fields (e.g. in small grey letters). Add same numbers in the drop down menu of the Hidden fields configuration menu (the list under find a field). The number could be on the left or the right of the field name. This will then help me to navigate the table. Bonus: Even better would be if I could click on that number in the drop down menu and that click would take me to the actual field in the table, so I don’t need to scroll the screen left and right.

A field type having a start and end dates. I believe a common use case with dates is creating different fields for start and end. It will be more elegant and time efficient to have an option to create one field instead.

I’d like to see iCloud, ie, the native iOS Files app, as an option in the File Picker menu for Attachment fields.
The use-case is obvious, as every other major cloud storage platform has representation in the File Picker - we iCloud users are alienated and forced to find another means of getting our files into the mobile app.

I hope I’m in the right thread…I’m looking for a way to have an entry at least partially auto-populate when I scan the bar code—specifically books and movies. I’d love to simply scan the isbn and have the book or movie title, and author if possible, appear in the base I have open. Then I can go back in later to add any tags or fields that the isbn of course could not auto generate. This would make my life SO much easier.
Is there a way to already do this? Even a workaround that isn’t too cumbersome should be fine. My search within the forums came up empty, but I not know if my search terms are right. If there isn’t currently a way, can we add that to the list?
