So, it would be totally awesome if I could link/connect the record in the grid with the actual Block page builder. We have 150+ individual records in this table, and a full page in the Block for each record (with 50+ data points per record). Hi It would really nice to be able to invite guest collaborators for bases that you didn’t need to pay for. I like the Slack model where every member has 5 free guests to add in one channel. Maybe you could do the same so that every paying workspace collaborator has 5 guests to invite. The guest could only have access to one base and if gain access to more than one they would be billed for. Rigth now when you have to collaborate with people outside your team you have to move a base to a free workspace. And can understand why Airtable choose to do this but maybe guest access could be a way in between. ... View more

Would like a chat block :pray: I know that lot of communication happens in Slack but I think that it would be useful anyway Here is how it could work: A chat block could be set to display comments from records across the entire base from the views of your choice. So it would be like a basewide activity feed. Like the activity feed, you could select whether you will see activity and comments or only comments. Sometimes I miss the ability to quickly see what has happened in the base since last. With the coming block dashboard you could create a dashboard for certain teams and add chat blocks only for them, and that would only show records comments from the views that were relevant to them I actually think that a lot of our Slack channels would end up as Chat blocks if this was an option. There are many things that I love about Airtable and like others such critical gaps that if filled with make it a truly powerful tool. Chief among these for me is a conditional related record lookup. i.e. Let’s say that I have already selected in one field a particular contract. Let’s say I have a separate table with the products on that contract. In another field I want to be able to select one of those products, but only have it show me products that are related to the contract already selected. As it is, I get presented with every product from every contract, making it close to unusable. The data is all there and it doesn’t break the structure. There have been many threads in here over the months to make Airtable more Forms Based (rightly so in my view) - but it occurs to me that a relatively simple start to this would be to build a List / Details type view with a brief (one or two fields) list of records on the left and then details displayed on a form on the right. The user should be able to specify fields to use in both areas. I’m using the calendar view to program a conference and I love the drag-and-drop and drag-to-expand functionality. This is making a task I used to struggle through SO much easier. However these functions only support 15-minute increments – I can start at 9:00 or 9:15 but not 9:10 or 9:20. And I can make events last for 15 or 30 minutes, but not 20 or 40.
