Want to be able to quickly show and hide FILTERED fields in bulk rather than one-by-one. I follow specific discipline when naming my fields. It allows me to quickly filter fields by criteria. However, currently it is not possible to show or hide all filtered (searched) fields. It is possbible to show or hide fields in the database, but when the search filter is applied, the Show / Hide buttons dissapear. I suggest to keep the buttons there and allow me to quickly mark “all filtered fields” in the search filter and then allow me to press buttons Show or Hide to show or hide them quickly in bulk. The problem: the people on my team who do data entry are confused about which fields they should enter data on. For example I made one column for the sole purpose of counting the entries on a separate table. The column uses an IF formula to find if another column has “Paid in Full” selected. While training a coworker she pointed to the column and was confused - why did she have to add duplicate data? It would be awesome if the column hinted that it was “computer generated” at just a glance. Here’s my suggestion: Airtable should use a different font for data that’s produced by a formula or otherwise can’t be changed directly. I suggest a monospaced font that looks “computery”. When something changes that makes a formula-powered filed change don’t just update it instantly. I had an idea for an airtable integration that I think would be super useful. I have an airtable with multiple different tables and for each of those I have a view that pulls up the specific records that require action from myself or other team members. I’d love to see a dashboard with various metrics that are each red/yellow/green depending on whether they need attention or not. [Was going to attach a screenshot of a concept but discourse won’t let me] I know that Airtable has a block for metrics which is kind of okay but doesn’t quite work the way I need it to. A couple months ago, Airtable started forcing the All Views left sidebar into all my bases. This is extremely annoying and invasive. I don’t need that view. It is distracting to always have to close it every time I open a base. Airtable should allow users the option to disable that feature and return to how things were prior to a couple months ago…with the base opening and NOT showing All Views left sidebar. ... View more
