I know it could be related to some filtering in linked records but I’d like to talk about my usecase, just to expand the possibilities.
I’m using airtable to manage an inventory of videogames collection.
I have a hardwares table, an accessories table and a games table. The hardwares table refer to accessories table for the included accessories (but it may not be a right thing to do, it’s just in a matter of “base-bundle”).
And I have a bundles table which group hardwares, accessories and games.
For instance, I have to create as many accessories as I own. But what if I wanted to have only a count ? I did it, and with the magic of rollup and formulas I can have a count of available accessories not in bundles.
It would be great if I could have only one entry for an accessory and be able to link to it from the bundles table based on the available count of accessories.
That’s my case.
Hope it helps !
