I love the embeddable Form option for information collection, however, it’s almost impossible to style the form using CSS since I can’t Inspect the code. It just shows as an over-all object rather than individual text and box components. I would be nice to be able to know the div id’s or classes in order to make it appear a part of your site’s type faces and colors. I am an artist working with various companies in various Markets/Categories (ie: greeting cards, home decor, stationery, and gift). Some companies are in multiple markets such as greeting cards & gift; whereas other companies just serve one. Think Micheal’s v.s. Hallmark. The former serves multiple markets while the latter is likely just greeting cards (just go with me). So now that you have the back story, I’d like to be able to Group by Markets/Categories, BUT, I would like a record to duplicate itself in this view to list in BOTH greeting cards and gift. I DON’T want it to be Grouped as “Greeting Cards, Gift” because it could be the only company listed as such. After doing some searching in the community and on Google, I haven’t found if this has been requested yet (or is even available already). Is there a way to see who is online on your base currently. I can see my team doing things occasionally, but that’s only if I’m looking at specific table and happen to see a little icon/box highlighted. Airtable is such a wonderful app, I can create forms. But I would love to use Airtable to enable paperless application forms that require signature. Such as Leave application for HR purpose. Applicant needs to sign the form, and the immediate supervisor needs to approve or not approve it. Thank you. Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, and Flow would be incredibly well paired with Airtable. Our team uses Airtable these days for just about everything. We also happen to like Microsoft’s plans for the Common Data Model that PowerApps is using and really appreciate the insights that Power BI is giving us into our data. On published forms, the prompt that a user sees inside the link field widget prior to clicking on the widget should be prompting the user to “Select”. Currently, it’s prompting the user to Add, which always makes me think that clicking it will create a new record within the linked table. While there may be some use cases for enabling an ADD functionality, that would be a secondary function. It’s a selector widget. It’s there for the user to select something. So, “Select” seems like a much more appropriate verb than “Add”. Maybe it could be made configurable, but if it’s going to be a fixed value, “Select” seems a much more standard prompt. ... View more

You know, I may be too obsessive, but it would be so nice to be able to set the width of the columns to a certain amount of pixels, for example, so all of them or selected ones only may have exactly the same width. I love to have things vissualy balanced, so I constantly find myself adjusting the width of the columns just by looking and it’s very frustrating sometimes. Airtable is letting me do about 95% of what I need for creating an app for recruiters to review job seeker profiles. I made the resume the cover image, but even in the record detail view you can’t read the text in the image. If I could write some custom CSS it would give me so much flexibility to fix this and a whole range of other issues! It’s such a bummer when a platform is SO close to doing what you need but then you have to go write the whole thing from scratch because there’s one critical thing missing that could be fixed with a CSS override. Custom scripts would also be A+! Squarespace allows this and it makes so much possible. They specify that they can’t support pages with custom code, which is fine with me. I’m going to use Espresso to make the changes. If that works as well as I hope, then I’ll investigate making a browser extension which will allow those overrides to be shared with our team.
