What is the proposed idea/solution? Summary count of record comments should appear on record lines in a grid in an interface (just like it does when viewing a grid in the base). How does this solve the user problem? When viewing a grid on an interface, you will know which records have comments. How was this validated? See screenshot. Who is the target audience? All interface users

What is the proposed idea/solution? As a user I want to be able to quickly share images, often screenshots, in the comments on a specific record. How does is solve the user problems? The user today needs to visit an external website to see the image I provide in an image link. Who is the target audience? Everyone who is collaborating in airtable

There greatly needs to be a filter in an interfaces Revision History. It should show as a pill next to the word Revision History, just like the filter pill shows on the new Record List interface. Or it could be next to the bell icon for changing the watching comments option. This way if you are viewing revision history you can narrow in on a specific field(s) to see only those revisions.

Airtable Automations - Run History Across Automations Add a screen to view Airtable Automation Run History across all Automations, rather than per Automation, as this would allow for better troubleshooting since sequential processing can be derived. What is the proposed idea/solution? New interfaces are great except at moment we can only freeze a single field at top of interface windows or sidesheets. However i would really like to customize if certain groups of data can also be frozen to not be lost when scrolling, or the ability for viewer to collapse data groups. How does is solve the user problems? We have critical data tied to risks/flags that we always want visible. However they are lost the moment you scroll down for more data. By freezing, its always there. Or if we can collapse groups, then we can collapse groups below critical group to allow more data to be seen as needed.

Hello @Airtable ! I use Airtable heavily for my personal organization as well as for my business organization (in two different accounts). I often have situations where I need to open an Airtable link (especially on mobile) and find myself with a ‘would like like to request access to this base’ message when I already have access to the base through a different email/password login. This forces me to log out of Airtable, log back in with my other account and then go find the original record/base link again to access the right information. Being able to log into multiple Airtable accounts simultaneously (as I can with my google accounts, for example) and then choose which account I would like to open the link with would Save time finding the information I need Increase my ability to collaborate with different groups using Airtable As I think about the future of Airtable and it’s widening popularity I can’t help but think this should be addressed by the Airtable! Lots of love to the Airtable team - you’re all doing great work! -A

Please can we add grouping to views in iOS apps?
This simple feature is, in part, stopping me from being able to transition my workflow to an entirely iOS ecosystem.

What is the proposed idea/solution? A Project Archive Feature to make it easy to 'deactivate and hide a project when certain criteria are met. An archived project would be grayed-out, hidden completely everywhere in the base or moved into an Archive Table. It would no longer affect any rollups or calculated fields. To make it active again, the user goes to Archive settings, click 'Show Archived Projects' then changes the criteria back to active. How does is solve the user problems? Current solutions only hide the project from view. it is still active and you need to consciously filter it from view everywhere in the base. Or you need to manually copy the project to an Archive table and delete from active which is tedious. How was this validated? No validation has been performed. Who is the target audience? Project managers with multiple projects that have a lot of fields/data. Their organization is known to pause or cancel a project and re-activate it again at a later date. Or they simply want to save old projects for reference.

Two of the major limitations of Airtable when creating a link from one table (“Table A”) to another table (“Table B”) is that: We can ONLY link to the primary field in the other table (“Table B”). To truly unleash massive amounts of power & flexibility & customizability in any database system, we need the ability to MANUALLY CHOOSE which field in “Table A” should be linked to which field in “Table B”. Linking is always done MANUALLY instead of AUTOMATICALLY. Unlike other database systems, Airtable doesn’t automatically scan for matching values in linked fields — a human must manually intervene by manually linking records. Obviously, these changes would graduate Airtable from the realm of “beginner-level database program” into a more “advanced-level database program”, but it would enable us to create all sorts of advanced database solutions that we can’t create now. It would also remove lots of migration headaches when importing/migrating data into Airtable from other advanced database apps.
