I think the title says it all lol, it would be really nice to be able to print selected rows without having to filter the ones I want

I would like to reorder my teams so that the most frequently used teams would be on top and then everything else would be below.

I love Airtable! I have a feature request. I created a form for my family to add gift/wish items for Christmas and Birthdays. I created a view for each member so they can’t see their gifts requested so they will not know if someone purchased a gift for them, you know keep it a surprise. My request is to allow people who receive private links of table views a location in the iOS app so they can quickly find their shared links. This particular gift base has three private link views for each person in my family.
A view of all the gifts requested - minus their gift requests.
A form view to make gift requests.
A form view to record a gift purchase (still working on this one - I need to figure out how to filter only the gifts not purchased)
It would be nice if this view of links was set up like the bases. So as a user I would see the name of the Base and then under it the views I have access too.
Thanks for your consideration!
Lisa

It would be great if the field name displayed at the top and/or the bottom of the screen so I could see what is supposed to be in them as I cursor across a table. I see the tool tip when I mouse over the name, but if i’m just tabbing through, it’s hard to know what’s there.
A related idea: I’d love to see an Excel/Sheets style input box in the title bar to make it easier to edit cells where the contents are not entirely displayed.

If you ask me what’s the biggest difference between Microsoft Excel and Access I would say the ability to write anywhere in Excel vs the rigid column definition of data in Access. Excel is so simple and most people use Excel as a database anyway. Database purists would point out lots of disadvantages doing this but Excel is popular because it is WYSIWYG: after you put data in the table, add a title in the row above the table and set the font size / bold / underline. Add a second table directly below the first one, also with a freetext title. No table definitions, messing with report layouts, records, joining tables, union… etc. If you share the spreadsheet with your team, write BIG RED TEXT on the first row telling them what to do/not to do. Again it doesn’t mess up the table definition or requiring a pop-up code to display this extra text. Simple. Effective.
It leads me to think if there could be a way to be able to achieve this in Airtable. Say I want to segment my rows into sections, each with a freetext section heading. Sure I could use Group By column, but I’ll need to make a new column that’s not related to my record. Also I can’t customize the text/font/spacing of these headings. Or simply adding a non-data row with rich text formatting? Of course sorting could lead to problems. But the potential gain is enormous: people can write their instructions, section headings etc. that encourage non-techie users to use Airtable more. (Currently there is a ‘column description’ function hidden away, but nobody reads that.

Reading through support.airtable articles, I noticed a couple of typography tweaks that would make the articles a way easier onscreen read:
(1) Tighten the leading between characters.
(2) Lower the line height by I think 1 pt.
Right now, the leading and line height are so wide that rivers appear throughout the pages. It’s a really nice, straightforward sans serif font Airtable’s using; there’s just too much space in it.
Looking at the page as a whole, you can see that the bright white background surrounding each character causes the bellies of very spacious letters, like c’s and b’s, and the crossbars of lower case f’s and t’s to disappear. Addressing this will enhance the page’s readability, encourage people to read an article all the way through, and then take on a new article. Right now, it hurts my eyes.
If you’re using a font from adobe typekit or google fonts, you should be able to make these changes pretty easily in the CSS.

From what I’ve seen so far, the fields in Airtable are horizontal or vertical. Either one causes lots of scrolling on large tables. Is or will there be a way users can configure the tables to have related fields on the same line? A person could Drag and drop the fields to the location they want. For example:
Mr. John Doe 1234 Main St. Anywhere all be on the same line and other data be below it.
I also noticed unless I put my cursor is on the scroll bar I can’t scroll.
