Today an interface can only be created on a base from every table in this base. It might happen to wish to build an interface with information coming from different bases. Let's have an interface that can show data from all the bases!

Hey @Ariane!

Do keep in mind that there are two different layouts that will allow you to achieve that:

- Blank layout. Downside: It is not Mobile supported.
- Dashboard layout.

Furthermore, as long as your tables are linked you can always access linked records by allowing expanded details of linked records. Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but thought it might be interesting to bring it up ๐Ÿ™‚

@Ariane

The workaround for creating an interface for multiple bases within a workspace would be to use Airtable's Sync Feature to synchronize multiple tables from different bases into a single base.

Then, as @Mike_AutomaticN mentioned above, you can use the Dahboard layout or the Blank layout to create an interface that pulls from multiple tables.

Of course, note that destination sync tables are typically read-only (unless you use 2-way syncing), so you might need to do some workarounds to enable people to do data entry.

For example, you might need a button to take them to another base to do data entry, or a button that takes them to a Fillout form that would enable them to create or update Airtable records from a form. Note that Fillout is 100% free, and it offers hundreds of features that Airtable's forms don't offer.

If you need even more power than what Airtable's interfaces offer, be sure to take a look at the 3rd-party portal apps out there, all of which let you create interfaces from multiple bases.

The most popular portals that are currently available for Airtable are: Noloco, JetAdmin, Softr, Pory, and Glide.

I gave an entire one-hour webinar on Noloco called Building a Client Portal on Noloco powered by Airtable
