I have an Airtable Business account and Enterprise license for Salesforce Data Cloud. Data cloud has a beta connector to airtable, but I have been unable to get them to work.

Here is the information the Salesforce connector asks for:

I have no idea how to get the schema that is being asked for. Also, it asks for a private access token or OAuth. I am at a loss on how to set this up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to connect my airtable to Salesforce because there are things that are much easier to add to airtable than Salesforce, but that I need to get into Salesforce for use elsewhere.

Hi Patrick,

From your description, your SFDC is looking for your Airtable Personal Access Token.  You should start here to create a token.

I am able to create a token, but it asks for the schema. No idea how or where to get that.

you would need to refer to the documentation for the salesforce cloud connector.  That should tell you how to get the schema.

Sadly, there is nothing in the documentation that even mentions schema. I also tried creating an OAuth key in airtable, but I am unable to click the Grant Access button. I have tried from Edge and Chrome on multiple occasions.

Hi @Patrick_Baker
I noticed you were working on connecting Airtable with Data Cloud. Have you completed the integration? It would be great to know if you’ve managed to resolve it, as I'm currently stuck at the same step you mentioned earlier regarding both OAuth and Personal Token, but I haven't had any luck.

Additionally, I can see the schema, but I'm unsure where to upload it. Could you please share if you've figured it out or found any workaround?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Patrick!

Not sure if you’re still having issues here, but https://www.whalesync.com/connect/salesforce-airtable instead.

You can just use OAuth to connect + it has 2-way sync.
