I’d like to request support for BC dates, or “negative” years. The Timeline Block is willing to display “negative” years, and I think it would be neat to be able to build a History Timeline in Airtable that could span back into Ancient, BC history. Sadly, the furthest back I can get is a “year 0”. And even the Date Picker on the Date field is willing to scroll backwards into negative years, but then when a date is selected, it inputs it as the positive inverse year: I’ve been fiddling with DATETIME_PARSE() formulas and can’t seem to get anything to produce a “negative” year output. I have been working with Airtable for only a short time - with a view to building solutions for clients. One of the things that worries me is how easy it is to delete a record - simply right click and delete and it’s gone. In my view there should at least be an Are you sure message - or the increasingly common requirement to type something like “Delete this record” into a dialog box. Org charts are immensely useful, especially for recreating sitemaps such as in my use case. It would also be immensely useful to be able to share/embed the block without having to share the entire table, but in the meantime an “Export to PDF” option should do it. I think it would be an quick and easy feature to add the ability to download photo attachments from the app and save to camera roll. Yes, there is save to dropbox, but in the interest of doing a download in minimum amt of steps, save to camera roll is fastest. Opening up the photo in safari to save to camera roll is too many steps. Also, I can’t use share to facebook because I am often commenting within a specific thread, so it’s easier for me to attach a photo from my camera roll while I’m replying to the comment. ... Currently, when you retrieve records through the API and specify a view, only those records that are visible through the view are returned, and they are returned in the order in which they are displayed. This is a noce feature, and I use it often. It would also help if the API returned only the columns that are visible through the specified view.
