I’m creating a dashboard of different chart blocks that I want to be able to share with others in my organization. I know there’s a beta feature for sharing an individual block (in this case, one chart), but if I want to share a dashboard (a set of charts) with someone, is there a way to do that? Hi there, I use Airtable as a CRM and as such, I have to write notes in the sidebar (datestamped but non-searchable and can’t be pulled into another cell) or in a Long Text field (no formatting, no timestamps) What I’d like to be able to do is two things - Create individual notes entries, date stamped, editable (including the date and time entered), filterable (user, order etc) and searchable. So as it is known, no direct method of creating reports. And before the community replies with suggestions of the Page Designer block, let me clarify that I am talking about MULTIPLE records per printable page to be shown in a report. What I want and what a majority of users want is something that is really quite simple but for some reason, hasn’t been implemented yet. What I would like to see is a report builder feature where it is an exact copy of a selected table in a base. Within this report builder, I may sort, filter, and hide columns to my choosing. Obviously, this may be done in the base itself. But let’s get real, that’s not sustainable. I want a one-click page to show me information sorted as I want without having to re-input all my filters. The report builder feature would allow what is basically a custom view into a printable report that can be customized for viewing ease. Even better, is if that report was able to be viewed in a web page like the form is. That way, the user could save that report as a shortcut to his/her computer station to open as they need without having to re-open Airtable. Or that on the dashboard, a “my reports” option would be available. This would allow for a great time savings in finding information one needs in everyday business operations. Is there a way to be able to allow only certain user levels to view certain blocks dashboards? Example: “Editors” could see one dashboard, read-only users could only see another dashboard, etc. And to even delve further, allow dashboards to filter information based on single-select fields. Example: I have an employee status as “NEW HIRE”, then they would be able to see the “NEW HIRE DASHBOARD” that would include company training videos, links to other onboarding sites, etc.? ... When constructing a formula in a formula field, until I press save, I guess what the results might look like for a given record or two. I’d like to remove the guesswork and a result preview might help. Perhaps a preview could show the result based on the first (or current) record in view. When the syntax of my formula has no errors, it’d be sweet to see a real-time result preview to guide me to: further adjust my formula or give me confidence to save. I believe a formula result preview would reduce the back and forth of trying formula, saving, and editing again, repeatedly. ... View more

Emails sent through AUTOMATIONS are double-spaced. It looks awful. Why is it done this way? I also think that the emails coming out of AUTOMATIONS should offer some conditional coding. For example, if the value of A is ‘x’ then display field B, otherwise display field C. I know I can handle that with an AirTable field that contains the value I want to display but I end up with sooooo many fields in AirTable. In fact, I already had to create several ‘automations-related’ fields strictly because of lookup fields. Another idea would be to allow more formatting options within the email message. I’m using the Map Block for a research project and it works great, but I think it could benefit from two hopefully simple-to-implement features: 1. A collapsible record list showing the records that appear on the map. This could of course function exactly like the Record List Block, and may look similar to Calendar views (the calendar or in this case map appear on the left side of the screen, and a record list on the right). Right now I’m using both blocks in tandem, but they don’t technically relate to one another so I have to collapse/minimize the map block to see a full list of records. Seeing the map and the list of records side by side would be very useful. I could then expand a particular record easily without having to find its location on the map, selecting the correct marker, and then clicking expand record. 2. A “zoom to record feature” for maps. It would be nice to either search within the Map block to find a record, or select from the record list described above and have the ability to zoom to the record’s location on the map. Right now, navigating back and forth between non-proximate sites in the Map block is cumbersome, and one would need a general idea of where a site is geographically to get to it; that, or clicking on each marker until they select the right record. ...
