We have the ability to increase row height, Airtable is a mature software at this point, why isn’t there the ability to either increase the column title height or Wrap for Column titles. The base ends up way to long left to right with way to much scrolling.

It would be great to make automation error messages more sophisticated. For instance it would be very helpful to build an error log in a table in order to assign errors to certain users or mark them as resolved etc. (at the moment the person who triggered the automation receives the error notification / email). Especially when dealing with more complex bases and / or using scripts in automations, errors are pretty common and a useful part of the development process. At the moment unfortunately not useful enough 🙂

It’d be fantastic to duplicate a URL column and then be able to set it to Bit.ly, or whatever. ESPECIALLY, if it tapped into Dropbox’s API to create http://db.tt links.

Please add options within the filter UI that allow us to narrow a dataset to just records that meet X requirement within a period of time. In our case, we need to know when one field was changed to X today, yesterday, this week, last week and in the last two weeks.
Similarly, we need to be able to create views for today, tomorrow, next week, next two weeks, next month, next quarter, etc.
I’m sure this can be done via formulas/fields, but a UI is preferable for view-management.

It would be great if there was the option to select multiple elements in Page designer so you could move and format them all together, using a marquee tool or CTRL and click.

Hi - I’m a lender and would like to use page designer to generate monthly statements for my borrowers. Ideally these are easily converted to pdf and saved in an attachment field for each record in a view. Right now there is no easy way to do this except for printing each separately and adding manually, or printing all records, splitting, and then uploading. We could save to an attachment field using a template and Formstack integration, but there are a couple limitations. No table view for linked fields and Formstack pricing is based on the number or merges, which would start to add up quickly. To share the statements with our borrowers, we’ll use Stacker so they can login to their portal and access the statements.

When a user comments on a record they are automatically notified of updates to that record. Although this can be switched off by ticking “not watching”, it seems repetitive and annoying as it is the norm for me and my team not to watch records. I appreciate that for most users, commenting and being automatically added to watching the record is correct. It would be good (as the base admin) to be able to switch off the auto-watching for all base users.

One missing piece of functionality is the ability to create advanced filters that utilize a combination of AND and OR filters.
For example, here’s similar functionality from EnjoyHQ.
However, I think Airtable could do this even better and the filtering functionality could be even more powerful if there both individual filters and filter groups (with clear visual indicators between filter groups to better illustrate their relationship.

It can be difficult to understand what someone’s formula is doing when the editing window is so small and the formula is huge, spanning many lines and wrapping many times, sometimes with deeply nested IF statements. It would be great to have a larger space to view and work with the entirety of the formula, especially if the formula is also prettily formatted and structured to make it more readable!
