Hi all -- @kev here to excitedly announce that we have a brand new, one-of-a-kind event coming up next month -- and we’re looking for the best Airtable builders to compete! You’re invited to apply to  the Airtable Buildathon on March 19 in NYC, a one-day, high-energy competition where you’ll solve real business problems with AI and compete for $100K+ in cash prizes... (!!)

Let’s be clear: this is not a typical hackathon.

It’s a live competition specifically for Airtable builders. You’ll work in ready-to-go Airtable environments, take on AI-driven bounty challenges, and ship working solutions that solve actual problems.

And the best part? You can win old, hard, cash.

The experience (This is where things get interesting…)

When you arrive, you won’t be walking into folding tables and quiet keyboards. You’ll step into:

  • A red carpet entrance
  • A live DJ spinning beats during build sprints
  • Six hours of high-energy build time
  • A real-time leaderboard tracking bounty completions
  • An arena-style entertainment team calling out milestones, tips and tricks, and more
  • A handful of Airtable experts onsite to workshop, brainstorm, and troubleshoot your workflows
  • A pop-up swag shop with event-exclusive Airtable swag
  • Recording booths for capturing demos, walk-throughs, and hot takes

It’s hands-on.
It’s competitive.
It’s collaborative.

And it’s built for builders (and their teams) who want to solve real business problems with AI-powered workflows.

What you’ll do

Five building tracks
Select your area of expertise from one of our five challenge tracks (Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, and Creative) and build a new way to work using AI-powered workflows designed for real-world business impact. You won’t start from scratch. You’ll build inside ready-to-go Airtable environments designed for speed and deployment.

AI bounties
Bounties are standalone challenges (with standalone prizes) based on core AI capabilities in Airtable. Within your building track, complete AI-powered “bounties,” and put AI to work in an end-to-end system. Each bounty will come with clear context, solution requirements, and evaluation criteria.

Space to build and ship
Airtable specialists will be onsite all day to help you level up your build and go further. And when you’re ready to ship, demo your build in one of our onsite recording booths and submit it for bounty prize eligibility. Prebuilt demo environments with sample data are available if you need to keep your workflow private.

$100K+ in prizes

With 300+ builders working across five build tracks, and from surprise moments to big reveals, there are many ways you can win at the Airtable Buildathon.

Individual bounty prizes
Every AI bounty has its own standalone prize pool, meaning you don’t have to win the grand prize to win big. Top bounty winners won’t just earn bragging rights, they’ll win $2,000 and take home custom Airtable Buildathon Championship Belts. Yes, actual belts. Wear it. Display it. Defend it next year.

Aircoins
Earn Aircoins, our event-exclusive currency, throughout the day by completing bounties, tackling flash challenges, and climbing the leaderboard. Redeem them at the pop-up swag shop for exclusive Airtable gear and event-only drops.

$50,000 Grand prize
At the end of the day, one build rises above the rest. The Grand Prize winner takes home $50,000 — and permanent Airtable legend status.

Hey @kev - just checking - the form says US residents only, but the T&cs mention other countries. Which is correct? Sounds really fun!!

(Just really really want a belt)
