🥇 We partnered with Rob Weidner (​@Rob_Weidner1) to build the ultimate Fantasy Olympics app on Airtable (in 2 days).

And you can copy the whole thing and make it your own.

How it works:

:bar_chart: Submit predictions for upcoming events and compete on the live leaderboard
:mega: Get daily AI-generated digests of results and highlights
:mag_right: Explore historical Olympic data going back decades

 

And we want you to remix it into something even better. 

 

First, make your picks. Submit your predictions for upcoming events. Track the live leaderboard.

Then, sync the data. Pull these Olympic datasets directly into your own base.

Make a copy, tear it apart. Adapt these techniques to your own apps.

    Ohhhh this looks so cool! I can already envision remixing for making a game out of it for the March AT Community Led Hackathon :D

        What a fun time! It was fun to have creative liberties to just build. And we all know that having good clean data to start with is sometimes one of the biggest hurdles to making magic happen. 
         

        We think this is an incredible opportunity to see what wild and crazy ideas are out there, by such an amazing community here.

          Just to see if it could (and it can) I asked Omni to whip together a Ski Free game to include. I submitted it in the community spotlight but here’s the public interface link.

          There’s part of me that’s like, is this even really Airtable anymore? but definitely fun that with 10 min of prompting you can end up with something playable haha. 

          EDIT- Oh, seems like you can’t utilize the High Score/Country Representation via the public link (that’s creating records I suppose). Regardless still fun to tinker with.

            Yeah I got around that by doing a pop-up modal for the “fantasy picks” with an embeded form, that’s prefilled with the event you are picking for.  You could do some sort of a “sign-up to play” form, which auto-creates a link back to your interface, with the “selections” the user picks when they sign up… Just spaghetti on the wall :) Very fun little game ​@DisraeliGears01
