Hi everyone,

Sheila here. Joining the ATL Buillder Group - it’s the closest to me! I am the Airtable Builder and Impact Coordinator for a nonprofit in the historic coastal town of Georgetown, SC. Just wanted to say hello!

Oh boy, you have no idea how happy I am to be doing this! We have information scattered everywhere for multiple programs and in as many formats. Seriously - hand written notebooks! Plus we have boxes of files back from over a decade I’m digitizing and will sort through later!!!! I get a bit overwhelmed at times.

My company was in the exact same situation! We have been in business for over 50 years and still used big boxes full of files until last year. It can be really frustrating, but once you get them digitized and organized, especially into a system like AIrtable, you have SO much power and information at your fingertips. The way all databases and platforms are heading - how strong your system and AI is, will be determined by how much information you have access to, the more you have the better!

Not sure how acclimated to Airtable you are, but the AI Field Agents, and the dedupe extension will be your best friend! The former can pull information and organize it from any data you have, and the latter can compare all your records and tell you if you have any duplicates and then merge them!

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!

AI is the new love of my life! Kimi helps with my research and then Claude puts it into a pretty format for me… And I have Kimi write up my prompts for Claude and Omni, lol!

It’s good to know I’m not alone and thanks for the info!

Question: I am trying to do a sync from Google Sheets to a matching table in Airtable.

Backstory: We have volunteeers come in and help witht he phones so they are not paid editors in Airtable. My solution was to create a form in Google that updated to a Google sheet. Now I want the Google sheet to sync to the matching phone log in Airtable. From there, the appropriate person should receive an email regarding the phone message depending on either 1. the person selected in the dropdown for the message or 2. the program selected from the dropdown in the form.

At this point, I am wondering if they even have our business plan set up to sync. I do not see a “circle” next to Sheets when I look at it under add or import from other resources.

Do I need to change something in settings like I did to have Omni work????

Do you have any idea what is going on with this? Can I send you an invite as a commentor?
