Hi ATL Group! Following Jill's lead, I wanted to introduce myself too. I'm the Sr. Director of Streaming Ops/Launch team and lead Product and AI initiatives at an entertainment company. I've been in the entertainment industry for 20+ years.
I was first introduced to Airtable during my time at Netflix as an Originals Launch Manager, and I brought it with me to my current company. It's been transformative for us — we've scaled it across 12+ departments, and it is now our source of truth, running workflows across Legal, Content, Ops, Marketing, etc. for linear cable channels and streaming (SVOD, AVOD, FAST, etc.). We've even built a fully customized project management tool on top of it, with our own ML layer that auto-creates about 95% of our projects from ecosystem data, and project scheduling keeps getting smarter - powering over 5k projects within the first year. We’ve built and deployed 1000s of automations, custom scripts, API connections, etc. Like Jill said, the more you build, the more people want built!
Lately I've been spending most of my time on AI agents inside Airtable and vibe-coding custom Interface Extensions. It's amazing what you can do with agentic workflows and multi-layered AI-enabled fields. We've built a business intelligence tool for research, extracted structured data from images and documents, and stood up competitor analysis tools and an AI knowledge base — and because the agents are embedded in the base, you can put them on a schedule so the data is always current. Looking forward to connecting with the group and seeing what everyone else is building.
