Any updates in the well known Bug that removes Attachments?

Hi, this is the first time I experience this issue first hand, but out of the sudden all attachment added using a Google drive link via API to my Airtable record gets removed inmediately after being added. It was working alright , but it suddenly stopped working. 
 

I know this is a well known bug in Airtable but could not find any updates. 
Files are sep with with open sharing and download rights in Google Drive, I an sending the export link in PDF to airtable and it was working currently until it stopped

There are no bugs in Airtable that remove attachments.

What seems like Airtable “removing an attachment” means that it was an invalid URL that was sent to Airtable.

In other words, the attachment never made it into Airtable to begin with. It isn’t the case that the attachment made its way into Airtable and then Airtable removed it afterwards. That would not happen.

What is the URL that you are trying to send to Airtable?

You can’t send a Google Drive webpage link to Airtable — you would need to send the direct link to the downloadable file itself.

If you’re using Make’s Google Drive modules, you would need to use the Get A Share Link module to get the correct URL.

Are you passing the Google Drive direct download/export URL in the attachment field, or the normal share link?
