Automation failing to set date

Hi,
I’ve set up an automation to trigger from a row inserted into google sheets.
In this sheet I have a column that is today’s date.
It is formatted as a date column.
I’m attempting to set a date field in Airtable based on this and it’s telling me it cannot insert a string into a date field.
How do I set a date field to today’s date when creating a new row through automation please?
