I'm writing to inquire if it's possible, either through an extension or natively, to track whether an email sent via automation has been opened or not.

Hi,

I was looking to solve this problem and came across this tool which it should be possible to integrate:

You can use basemailer extension to track open and click events.

If you’d like a really quick/easy/cheap way of doing this, you can just use a service like Paste Pixel to embed a tracking pixel into your email.

Otherwise, you could turn to more advanced email marketing tools (such as MailGun, MailChimp, MessageBird, Brevo, PostMark, BigMailer, MailerLite, etc.) and integrate them with Airtable by using Make’s advanced automations & integrations.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make

I also give live demonstrations of how to use Make in many of my Airtable podcast appearances. For example, in this video, I show how to work with Airtable arrays in Make.automation from Airtable

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
