I am suddenly having many separate automations fail. they all involve sending an email. in some cases, the automation involves sending more than one email, and it will send 2 emails and then fail on the 3rd (all within the same automation). In other cases, it fails on the first email. 

i am getting two different errors. 

  • Microsoft reported an error while processing this action:
    Microsoft may be experiencing issues with their API | Message draft was unable to be deleted.
  • Microsoft reported an error while processing this action:
    An unknown error occurred.

In each case, the automation is using the Outlook Email- Send Email action. And they are connected with my outlook. the automations have worked without issue for a year and i used them last week without issue. 

i tried restarting my computer. this did not solve the issue. any other suggestions as to what is going on and how to fix it?

Microsoft is still reporting issues with Outlook and Teams.

That's not very informative or promising but at least they're acknowledging part of the issue.

well, it is possible that it was an intermittent issue. it does not appear that it is continuing today.
