Hey Airtable fam,

I'm trying to build a deal flow CRM in Airtable, and I'm looking for a way to automatically pull investor data from Pitchbook into my base. I'm currently doing it manually but it drains my time.

I'm wondering if anyone has found a good way to automate this process. I've been looking at a tool called the Pitchbook Investors Scraper on Apify, which seems like it could work, but I'm curious if there are any other solutions out there.

I'd love to hear how you're using Airtable to manage your deal flow and any tips you have for automating the data entry process. Thanks!

Hm, you’re probably already aware of this, but Pitchbook appears to have their own API so you can just grab stuff yourself: https://pitchbook.com/products

Have to request access though, is that why you’re considering Apify?

Could also check out the web-clipper extension: https://airtable.com/marketplace/blkBt22lyst8efk7Q/web-clipper

Still pretty manual as you’d need to be on each page though

Well the Pitchbook API can be pretty expensive to use so I found that Apify actor that’s pretty cheap and does the work. Sure, there’s a bit more of manual work but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy and quickly to gather the info I need.
