I was wondering if it is possible to create an automation that uses Airtable's own notification system. We use the interfaces for working all the time and it would be nice if we could get a notification if a certain cell reaches the date of today.
No, that is not possible in Airtable, but that would be very cool! Please be sure to send it as a feature request to support@airtable.com.
However, in the meantime, you can create your own custom notification system by using two 3rd-party apps: Make’s advanced automations and Pushover Notifications.
