Can automations be programed to send to outside emails that are not current users of airtable?

Yes, but your workspace needs to be upgraded to the Pro plan in order to do this.

Yes, but your workspace needs to be upgraded to the Pro plan in order to do this.
And you need a fully paid Pro plan, not just a Pro trial. If you are on a Pro trial and need this functionality immediately, contact Airtable support and they can get you setup.
Note that there are several ways to send emails with Airtable Automations:
- Airtable’s “send email”
- Gmail
- Outlook Email
