I am currently using the Slack automation to notify me when a record has been added or updated. Is there a way to include the name of who updated the record last in this notification.

Sure, just create a “Last Modified By” field in your base, and include that field in the Slack message.
If your automation is only triggering on specific fields that are updated, then make sure that your “Last Modified By” field is set to only update upon those same fields.
