Workaround for user to click button on interface (record taken from separate base)

Hi all

 

I have an automation set-up, that changes the status of a record. This is performed via interface/record picker view. As owner/admin I am able to run this automation when clicking the button, however my colleague who is also an admin, is unable to click this button. It’s greyed out. 

 

I understand there are some limitations if the record is coming from a different base. Does anyone know a workaround please?

Limitations from synced records should affect all users in the base I think.  You mentioned they’re an admin, which means that they have at least Editor level access for the Interface as well so that won’t be it

Hmm..you’ve probably already checked this, but could I confirm there aren’t any field or table specific permissions that might be interfering with this?
