Ive tried to set p a workflow automation to X - but Im getting errors?

Hey @Kassandra,

We’re glad you reached out to help! Would you be able to share more about the errors you’re getting and what tools you’re using?

Then, we can help you figure it out.

Hmm, the error message suggests that your X connection doesn’t have the posting permissions; may want to try connecting another account that has higher perms and see if that works

@Kassandra

As it mentions in your screenshot, Airtable has ended support for X/Twitter’s API, and so have most of the external automation platforms as well.

If you know how to write code, then your best bet is to write your own custom JavaScript code for this, or you can use Data Fetcher for your CURL REST API code.

Otherwise, if you don’t know how to code and you’re looking for a no-code way of doing this, you would need to turn to XTweetAPI, and you can automate it using Make’s XTweetAPI’s integrations,

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

Hope this helps!

I personally did not play around with it, but when API’s are either expensive, hard to connect, or others, I have relied on RapidAPI in the past. I found one for Twitter here, which you might want to take a look at!

For making use of it you will probably want to use Zapier, Make, n8n, or any other automation tool -more on them here.
