Anyone else finding the base ‘find in view ‘function frustrating to use lately? As soon as I start typing it immediately starts searching so pauses the ability to continue typing resulting in letters being missed. The only way to use it effectively is to type r e a l l y s l o w l y or paste the word(s). It never used to have this issue and, since I use the find function regularly, it’s having a severe impact on my workflow. Advice welcome.

Many people have reported this issue lately. Seems like it is a performance regression with the live-search debounce rather than anything being done on your end.
The best way to help this in the meantime is honestly just pasting the word or term you are looking for. If you are on a browser try to disable the extensions as a few users have found that they interfere with the search input lag. Some people have found some success switching to the desktop app instead of the browser. A filter or a saved View could be easier if you use the same searches often. Otherwise the best thing that I think you can do is to flag Airtable support directly as it seems to be a bug.
