Can't get started, can't start a new base

I have not started anything, I got an invite from a friend & I signed up, but when I open my account, it has my friends base (shared with me) and I have no place to start a new base from scratch. have looked all over, but can’t even get started, thanks for any help.

Welcome to the Airtable community!

Can you see a workspace named “My first workspace” or something similar? It may have several sample bases in it. Try creating your personal base in that workspace, not in the section with your friend’s base.

Welcome to the Airtable community!

Can you see a workspace named “My first workspace” or something similar? It may have several sample bases in it. Try creating your personal base in that workspace, not in the section with your friend’s base.
