Change order and visibility of fields in record 'card'

Hi all - How do we change the order of the record cards? I know it changes sometimes but am not sure how to do this intentionally.

Not sure which card you’re talking about, but if you’re talking about the linked record card, it’s based on the very first view (i.e. very top view) in the linked table, not including favorite views or personal views.
