I need unique lookup values. This can only be done using a rollup field, which removes formatting. I need unique values but retained formatting.

A way to use ARRAYUNIQUE() in a lookup field to dedupe values would be a great addition to the product. You're right! You can do this with a rollup field, but it does remove the formatting. I encourage you to post this idea in the Product Ideas section as I am sure others might be looking for similar functionality.
