Hello, I am using FILLOUT forms in integration with Airtable.
I saw something strange, that if I define a filter on records in my database, then in FILLOUT, I can only select the records that are displayed in the database, even though they are in the table, they are just not displayed because of the filter.
Does anyone know if there is any way to solve this problem?

Ha yeah, I managed to replicate this.  I opened a support ticket about it let’s see what happens

They got back to me!  Apparently when we have multiple views in the table then the ‘Limit to view’ option appears:

You need to refresh your page to get it to show up, then make sure it’s empty and then publish again.  Seemed to fix it for me

@TheTimeSavingCo would you mind rephrasing the issue? Sounds interesting, but I am not fully getting what the problem is.

Thanks!!!!!

Ah so to replicate the issue, I did:

  1. Create a new base with two tables (Form Submissions and Data), and link them together
  2. Link a Fillout form to the Form Submissions table
  3. In the Fillout form, add the linked field to the Data table
  4. In the Data table, only have one view, and in that view add a filter
  5. When using the linked field in the Fillout form, the available records is limited based off of that view’s filter

And the steps to fix it were:

  1. In the Data table, add another view
  2. In the Fillout form editor, refresh the page and look for the ‘Limit to view’ input field
    1. Make sure this is empty
  3. Publish

And this seemed to have fixed it!  Not sure whether this was the same problem faced by the OP tho
